Adult Bib Tip #8 - Work

When eating lunch at work, use a bib so you don't have to wear your lunch for the rest of the work day. Cuts down on dry cleaning, if nothing else.

Sites with Bibs for Men

These are really fun to see, make adult bibs by up-cycling men's plaid shirts. You can mix all sorts of patterns. It is also a good idea to have the bib close at the side front. I does look as if the snaps are too small to be easy for large, arthritic hands to be able to maneuver. I've been pondering the answer to this question for some time. If I come accross an answer to to this probem I'll post it.

An interesting idea for making a man's bib from an t-shirt with a collar by using the collar and the fabric around it and down the front to make the bib.

User Comment:

Hi Suze, I'm looking for a pattern for a adult bib similar to yours but on a smaller scale. Something that will go around the neck but not hang down very far in the front. Something like a cowboys bandana? Any ideas.

Reply:

The idea of using an Over Size Cowboy Bandana would work. You could cut a large triangle instead of a square and make the point hanging down in the front as deep a you want. Use a piece of old sheeting to experiment to find the size you want.

Or, you could use one of the patterns below and cut it to the length you want.
